Yes you can go ahead with a fresh order if for some reason you abandoned any earlier orders.
Uncompleted orders will be canceled, no worries.

Yes you are right those orders cannot be deleted by the user.
We will clean up the system on a regular basis by purging these unfinished orders. Meanwhile you can safely ignore...
